Have a look around you, what do your surroundings say to you? Are the things in and happening in the environment around you ones that cause you to smile and be happy with the world? Or do they bring you feelings of depression and being stressed out over the things occuring in your life and what you currently have? It is incredibly common for people to look at the things around them, at the things they are doing and to feel discontent. Think of the people you spend time with, your friends and your family, how happy are they with their lives, how positive or negative is their outlook? And if you really think the outlook they take is positive, take a deeper look, what are they drawing to them that gives cause for them to be happy each day, are they truly positive or do they mask negative undercurrents?

Your environment contains a mass of information about you as you well know, have a look at it, what do you think that other people would think about what they see? On that note, what do you think about it looking in on yourself? Everyone sees a variety of differing things in the world surrounding them and everyone has a different way to interpret the meaning of these things. The mind operates on various levels, two of which we’re looking at here, the first is the conscious and the second is the unconscious. The conscious is the level where you actively visualise, think about things and communicate on a verbal level. The unconscious is where your core beliefs and feelings mold your perceptions of the world you have around you. Your unconscious also does other things, when you move a muscle it controls that movement, your conscious mind would find it difficult to shift your arm due to all the individual tendons and fibres needing coordination, whereas your unconscious can easily manage all the neurons required to operate the muscles with very little effort. The conscious mind works with approximately seven plus or minus two chunks of information at a time in comparison to the unconscious mind which works with aproximately 134 chunks. Taking a different direction, you have around two million bits of information per second coming in through your senses, if all of that came straight to your conscious mind it would be totally overwhelming. So your unconscious filters information for you based on what is a priority, and takes into account your belief structures and previous experiences, it deletes, distorts and generalises what’s happening accordingly. Yes it does delete information, are you constantly kept aware of being able to feel your right shoe on your foot through the day? Most likely not because you’ve no need to be, so the information’s deleted, unless the shoe causes pain in which case it highlights that feeling. So your mind shapes the appearance of the world around you, what you pay attention to and also what draws your attention. Knowing this how do you now feel about the things occuring around you and the light in which you’ve been viewing them, about how the people around you have been behaving toward you? Does it yield you reason for celebration? If this is so then you’re part of a small niche of the population!

When you look at the world around you if you are anything other than happy with it then I’m sure you agree that something needs to change right? Right! For sure gaining high levels of Success in negative environments is very difficult. So what can you do? People often go and change their career, partner, friends and almost their entire lives in cases. Are these the most effective things to change though? With some situations yes, with the majority tweaks required though a more fundamental change is required. As you are now aware your unconscious mind shapes your experiences of the things going on around you, it does this by drawing on your experiences and belief system. They wonder, “Can you attract the wrong relationship?” The answer to that is Yes and No. I will elaborate. You create the “Wrong” relationship based on what it is you project you desire. In other words, your words are saying “I want someone who is fun, caring, and passionate. Someone who treats me well” but your real subconscious intention is something more to the tune of … “I can never get the right woman. Why do my friends get such a simple route? What am I doing wrong? Where are all of the eligible right for me women? And so on. So you are going to be attracting more about what you are thinking and expecting. So is she wrong? Perhaps, is your thinking wrong? The Law of Attraction says what you focus on you get more of. So if you’re not in a relationship and are searching for a love, you must focus on what it is like to be in a love relationship, not the other way around.

A fantastic practice to improve your inherent desires on this is by wielding a strong tool that Abraham-Hicks coaches called Book of Positive Aspects. This is a powerful tool for creating a Love with the Law of Attraction.

You can use this tool when you find you create some negative emotion and need to continue changing the direction of your vibration and find a more harmonious feeling mindset. When you want to strengthen your threshold of creation since you have got a lot of negative vibrations. Here is how it works: you should do this by hand to help acquire the hang of it. I truly suggest that you always write a Book of Positive Aspects. You’ll desire to give yourself at least 15 minutes for this exercise.

At the top of the paper put down the area of what you desire a better energy set point on.
